Thread rolling is the second step of screw production, also important during the screw production. Different thread type can be used for different materials, like metal to wood, metal to metal, wood to wood etc.

Heat treatment is to strengthen screws in order to avoid any broken during the screw drilling.
The final step of screw production is surface treatment, like zinc plated, phosphate, nickle, ruspert to make sure the screw is anti-corrosion and anti-rusting.

SCREW DRILL CUTTING
Drill Cutting is an important step in the production of self drilling screws during screw manufacture. Our high-speed tail dilling machine can produce different screw tails. Such as type17 tail, cutting tail, winged drill tail. As for the drilling screw, we can also produce different types of tails according to the screw.
SCREW THREAD ROLLING
Thread rolling is another important process in screw production. Thread rolling is mainly used to form the thread of the screw. The principle of the thread rolling machine: the main motor drives, the machine runs, and the cam moves to form a pushing action. It can automatically complete the entire process of feeding, unloading and automatic thread rolling during screw production. HEATING TREATMENT
The heat treatment of screws is also called hardening by screw manufacturing companies. If the iron steel needs to be harder, it needs to be hardened. Due to the different carbon content in low and medium carbon steels, the tempering temperature has different effects on them. The tempering temperature of the screws produced by the screw factory is generally around 360°C, and the tempering temperature of the drill tail screws is around 200°C, and then cooled to around 34°C-35°C and 39°C-40°C respectively.
SURFACE TREATMENT
There are many types of screw surface treatment, our common ones are galvanized, phosphating, nickel-plated, dacromet, ruspert and so on. Depending on the surface treatment method, different durations of salt spray tests can be carried out. We can provide customers with corresponding surface treatment according to their different requirements and uses.
